Bug Description

Binary package hint: kmix

Using Kubuntu 8.04 and kmix 4:3.5.8-1ubuntu2
Using this audio card:
00:05.0 Multimedia audio controller: C-Media Electronics Inc CM8738 (rev 10)

Alsa drivers for this card have not mute option for Master channel, but it has it for PCM channel.
Then I right-click on Kmix applet, a menu is dropped and i choose Select master channel, I select PCM.
Now kmix should use PCM channel for raiser volume and mute, but it is using other channel called "synth".

The problem is only with multimedia keys, i have found that disabling kmilo, multimedia keys become work over the correct channel.
May be the bug is really in kmilo?
