Bug Description

When scanning a qr code containing a bitcoin address using qtqr and my webcam, qtqr converts the address to all upper case letters.
Be aware that this could lead to people losing money (since they will be sending BTC to the incorrect address).

Hi!

Thanks for your report. Could you please shareme a sample QR code and the expected output? I did a quick check and we are not converting to upper case for any type of code. It could be a bug from zbar though. Could you also please try directly using zbar if get the same result?

Hello again
After looking more closely at the issue, it was caused by the app that was generating the qr code - so nothing to do with qtqr. Qtqr still rocks. Thanks.
