Software Updater window does not expand on 18.04

Bug Description

Software Updater window does not expand.

The Software updater window should be manually resizable. It should remember its previous expanded size, but by default should be the same width as when not expanded, and tall enough to show six items in the list, with a minimum height of three items.

Open Settings from left panel or application menu. When it opens, navigate to Details -> About

GNOME shows 3.28.2

So you can also see, we have three different information for gnome version.

This bug was fixed in the package update-manager - 1:24.04.7

update-manager (1:24.04.7) oracular; urgency=medium

  * Fix scroll window on update downloading page
    - Currently the download progress box does not
      expand vertically when in fullscreen, however
      the expansion in vertical direction with
      increasing window height is the proper
      behaviour. This fix provides this desired
      behaviour.
