Battery always full after upgrading to Hardy

Bug Description
In my case the battery icon is always the full battery icon and I didn't get any information of the % or the time remain of the battery.
I had Kubuntu Gutsy and upgraded to Hardy.
My laptop is Upi ( Intel core duo 2.00, Intel 945GM grafic card, RTL-8139/

Thank you for your report. Just for future reference, if you could attach your files separately to bug reports rather than as a tarball it would be much appreciated. Per the kernel team bug policy, can you please attach the following information.
* uname -a > uname-a.log signature > version.log
* cat /proc/version_
* dmesg > dmesg.log
* sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log
Also, it might be helpful if you could include the output of the following when running from your battery:
* cat /proc/acpi/ battery/ BAT0/info battery/ BAT0/state
* cat /proc/acpi/
