Hugin will not start at all

I am sorry to report this. Your programme worked fine last year but it is now impossible to launch

I'm sorry, but without more information - best a way to reproduce this - we can't do anything.

Tell what information you want and I will give it to you. Anyway below is what happens:

The icon on the dock does not work at all. Hence I use the app folder and start Hugin from the folder with the Hugin app:

It will then display the following text box:

If I choose OK the program will stop. If I choose Cancel, I get this:

I can try “Negeer” = Ignore and nothing happens. I can try “Open opnieuw” = Open again and nothing happens. I did not use “Meld .. “ as this reports to Apple and I have already a message that the App is not an Apple verified or vetted App and I have to allow my Mac to start the program.

Let me know what else you need to know.

Please note that I removed the older version that had the same problems.

Which OS? Mac OS after the screen shots? But which version?
Which Hugin version? Does it also happens with current Hugin version 2019.0?

Then provide please the mentioned file hugin.xml (Select the entry in the list box, then you can view it and save it).
Alternatively you can also attach the zip file mentioned in the top of the dialog (/var/../hugin_dbgrpt...zip).

Thanks for your questions, in meantime I did some further cleaning and re-booted the computer.

The problem seems to have vanished so I cannot reproduce the failure to start.

I use macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6 and I downloaded the latest version of Hugin 3 days ago so version 2019.0.0.

I cannot locate the zip file unless you can direct me the place where this might be

Note that I am not software expert and 65 years old trying to help with a problem that may be gone now.

I also noticed that the Hugin symbol on the dock that was “stuck” there is gone after re-booting the computer
