Didn't do anything special. Logged out and checked if "Ubuntu" or Ubuntu on Wayland" was set and "Ubuntu" was set.

IBus has just been updated in eoan. Can those of you who were hit by crashes please upgrade to ibus 1.5.21-1~exp2ubuntu1 and let us know if you notice any difference.

I haven't seen this bug for some time and the test case: log in, start
Gnome Gmail open a mail and click a link that opens Chrome works fine.
This is on ibus 1.5.19-4ubuntu2.
