server admin menu uses old terminology

Bug Description

3.3

With bug 1538691 (3.2), various instances of the term "Copy" were replaced with "Item", including in Admin menus.

Bug 1811156 (3.3) ported the Server Admin menu to Angular but did not use the new terminology, affecting two menu entries:

Copy Statuses (should be Item Statuses)
Copy Tag Types (should be Item Tag Types)

This should be corrected to be in line with the "Item" terminology in use elsewhere, and seen in 3.2.

(N.B. for anyone working in that space - bug 1803790 to re-alphabetize these menu listings is pullrequested but not merged)

Note this affects 3.3 but not 3.4/master.

Hello

I also noticed new references to "Volume" added in Evergreen 3.3

Admin -> Server Admin -> Call Number Prefixes

The page header is "Call Number/Volume Prefix Configuration" & the button = New Call Number/Volume Prefix

Admin -> Server Admin -> Call Number Suffixes

The page header is "Call Number/Volume Suffix Configuration"

Button = New Call Number/Volume Suffix

Volume should be removed.

Does this fit with this bug or should I report this as it's own bug?

Christine, I think that would work best as a separate bug. I believe your finding is related to outdated terminology remaining in the fm_idl.xml file.

For example, the reporter:label attribute on this line should be "Call Number", but it is "Call Number/Volume": https://github.com/evergreen-library-system/Evergreen/blob/master/Open-ILS/examples/fm_IDL.xml#L3095

At a quick glance, I found several <class> and <field> elements with outdated terminology in their reporter:label attributes.

Confirmed in EG 3-5-1

The Item Status Configuration interface now has the correct/new terminology.

The Item Tag Types Configuration interface still displays "Copy Tag Types Configuration" and "New Copy Tag Types"

Changed in evergreen:
status: New → Confirmed
no longer affects: evergreen/3.3

The initial issue was fixed along the way - the Copy Tag Types issue is covered in bug 1915053 - so I'm marking this won't fix
