Bug Description

Dear MadAnalysis5 team,

I've installed MA5 through MG5 on a condor cluster I'm using.
I've been able to run analyses on the virtual machine, but when I submit jobs, the reports fail to generate everything related to PDFlatex and DVI (i.e the plot in the HTML / PDF file, and the PDF file itself).

I suspect this is related to environment forwarding in submitting jobs, but I do forward the environment, and mg5 does not experience any such problem.
Running outside of the job, everything is detected properly, and runs properly.

I've look into DetectPdflatex in system, but could not find something wrong, or differences which should arise within a submitted script / regular run.

Please advise
Thank you

Sincerely
Iftah

Hi Iftah,

Do you have access to the screen output to verify whether the message
"pdflatex not installed -> no PDF report."
has been printed to the screen? Also, at startup, has pdflatex been detected?

If I have well understood the problem: when the code is run through mg5 it fails. When ma5 runs as a standalone package externally it works. Is that right?

Cheers,

Benj

Hi Benjamin,
I hope all is well.
I'm sorry for late replies on this
I think this might be related to cluster issues on my end.

I will update if this returns

Best
Iftah
