Bug Description
Hello,
I am trying to use my new logitech quickcam express plus webcam in ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy). Be aware it is the PLUS model.
Using the lsusb command, I see that I have:
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 046d:092f Logitech, Inc.
In ubuntuforums they told me I shouldn't have to do anything except plug that cam in and it should work.
I've tried cheese and camorama, they don't find the camera! it is plugged, the led is on and works ok with windows.
cheese says: unable to find a camera, sorry!
camorama says: could not connect to video device (/dev/video0)
I have skype for linux 2.0.0.27 installed, and also qt4, d-bus and libasound2 (all needed by skype)
I think maybe it is a bug
