I tried viewing the movie trailers on blockbuster.com
Is that what you want as an example of a URL?

Thanks
Barbara Alonge

I go to www.blockbuster.com and click on the movie, just like I always
do on my windows computer. I have tried several movies and none of them
will show. Here is a URL of the first movie showing that I clicked on:
http://www.blockbuster.com/catalog/movieDetails/34642
Then this is the message it gives me when I check on any of the
connection speeds:
Please update to the latest player version
for best performance (It has Windows media player and Real Player as
choices listed there)
My goal is to transition from Windows to Linux, but I am trying to make
sure that I can do all the same things before making a final transition.
I just installed this recently. I have some other issues too. Should I
repost them or mention it in a follow-up email to you? Thanks for your
help.

You don't need to log in to view the movie trailers. I haven't tried any
other spots yet, but due to work, I won't be able to check things out again
Until Wednesday evening. Thanks
Barb

Okay, I thought of one. I have a YouTube movie clip on my own website
I just checked and it plays nicely on my windows computer.
It just immediately disappears on the Ubuntu Linux.
Here is the site:
Cigarsbuythebox.com
In the right upper corner there is reference to something from Rocky Patel
Underneath is the words you click on to watch it.

Thanks
Barbara

Flash is working properly in Firefox. I have checked on several sites so far

What do you use to be able to view movie clips on firefox?
My Totem application says that it is a movie viewer, so now
I am confused as to what you are supposed to use to view DVD's that you
put in your DVDplayer in the computer.
Thanks again for helping me.
Barb
