Bug Description

Binary package hint: f-spot

When trying to export to Flickr I can't move on from "Logging into Flickr.com" - with a grayed out "Checking credentials...".

This appears in the terminal:

Are you using Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron?

I am and within the past couple days this functionality broke.

When I click to export, f-spot dies. This is what I see in the terminal:

** (f-spot:6815): WARNING **: The following assembly referenced from /usr/lib/f-spot/f-spot.exe could not be loaded:
     Assembly: FlickrNet (assemblyref_index=15)
     Version: 2.1.5.42604
     Public Key: xxx
The assembly was not found in the Global Assembly Cache, a path listed in the MONO_PATH environment variable, or in the location of the executing assembly (/usr/lib/f-spot).

** (f-spot:6815): WARNING **: Could not load file or assembly 'FlickrNet, Version=2.1.5.42604, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=xxx' or one of its dependencies.

Note: Applications can use GLib.ExceptionManager.UnhandledException to handle the exception.

If you are using Hardy Heron, this bug is probably a duplicate of the following:

No, this is not on Hardy. This is on 7.10. So it is properly not a
duplicate of that other bug.

I'm on a 7.10 computer right now I'll see if I can duplicate. I am signed in to flickr already so I might not be able to.

The Export menu didn't work for me on Gutsy at all, so I couldn't reproduce it there. Neither could I reproduce it after upgrading to the Hardy version, where the export did work.

I haven't been able to reproduce the bug since. So I properly won't be able to give much more information. I will return with more info if the but appears again.
