Bug Description

The default state of display is upside-down. I'm observing this issue in latest kernels(>4.19).

Command "xrandr -o normal" make things normal, but rotating display welcomes unexpected behavior.

Please Check, Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks

OK, that's a different OS release though.

Please try installing some older kernels (like 4.15) from

  https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/?C=N;O=D

and tell us if you are able to avoid the bug with them.

I have installed and boot into kernel v4.18 and the issue is not present.

uname -a
Linux DPJ-Aer3 4.18.0-041800-generic #201808122131 SMP Sun Aug 12 21:33:20 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

One observation - auto rotate feature isn't working in v4.18, but worked on v5.0
