Bug Description

When it freezes I typically try and go through my logs. I haven't been successful at finding where it crashes in my syslog. However, I did find what is listed below this time. I've also ran a memory test on my machine which passed. I originally had the nvidia drivers installed but after the first few lockups, I thought it might be driver related so I uninstalled the driver.

Apr 15 17:13:09 Ben gnome-shell[2251]: Some code accessed the property 'WindowPreviewMenu' on the module 'windowPreview'. That property was defined with 'let' or 'const' inside the module. This was previously supported, but is not correct according to the ES6 standard. Any symbols to be exported from a module must be defined with 'var'. The property access will work as previously for the time being, but please fix your code anyway.

2. Please check for any history of crashes on the system:

3. Next time the problem happens, please reboot and then run:

   journalctl -b-1 > prevboot.txt

and send us the file 'prevboot.txt'.

1. I cannot move my mouse pointer.
2. There are some .crash files but these look unrelated based on
timestamps. I've included a screenshot of the files that I have. If you
would like me to send them I would be more then happy to.
[image: Screenshot from 2019-04-15 21-16-05.png]
3. Here is my last prevboot.txt I have shut down or reset after recovering
from my last crash. Not sure if this is useful or not, but I'll be sure to
send the next one.

Thanks for looking into this, I appreciate all you guys!!!

In that case, please proceed to step 2 in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Responses#Missing_a_crash_report_or_having_a_.crash_attachment

my last crash.

In that case, the output from 'journalctl -b-1' is not helpful. If you can recover without rebooting then please run 'journalctl -b0' instead and send us the output. If you need to reboot to recover then please use 'journalctl -b-1'.
