Bug Description
The icon for the blank cd appears twice on the Lubuntu 18.04 desktop after cd insertion & automount. Ejecting the cd from pcmanfm removes both icons from desktop. Apparently erroneous automount seems to interfere with burning data to the cd with xburn. This bug appears in both 32-bit and 64-bit variants of Lubuntu 18.04.
I expect to view the icon of only one blank cd per cd/dvd drive on the Lubuntu desktop.

I booted up Lubuntu 18.04 (x86_64) LTS and inserted a blank dvdr & two folder-icons appeared titled "Blank CD-R Disc" appeared, plus a option-dialog titled "Removable media is inserted" asking if I want to open in Xfburn or File.Manager.
Ideally there would be a single "Black CD-R Disc" icon on the screen, yes it's a bug, but a minor & COSMETIC bug (at least visually) in my opinion. I've attached my screenshot, property windows for each 'Blank CD-R Disc' window visible plus the menu it offered me. I got the same results as Glenn reports.
Glenn noted it "seems to interfere with burning data to the cd with xburn". I did not burn the disc so did not verify this, but just ejecting the blank disc caused both "Blank CD-R DIsc" icons on my desktop to disappear, re-closing the cd/dvd tray on my machine did not cause these icons to reappear, and it LOOKED liked XFBurn would operate correctly (sorry I don't have an unused dvdrw to test this). This may be a work-around (ie. simply open the cd/dvd tray & re-close).
If you don't mind Glenn, can you test the 'open & re-close' tray performs the same for you, and is the operation still interfered with as your report?
With thanks, Chris.
