I add the Screenshooter to the bottom panel.

If there are no windows open it snapshots the desktop correctly, but does not include the panel.
If any windows are open the snapshot is a mess.

The above happens when the Preference 'Always take shot of the whole screen' is not selected, ie for window mode, and you then select (click) on the desktop. The screenshooter should either do nothing, else snapshot the entire screen as if 'Always take shot of the whole screen' were selected. (BTW, windows are shapshotted correctly when they are selected.)

If the Preference 'Always take shot of the whole screen' is selected, the entire screen is snapshotted, correctly.

I don't know where to report this upstream as xfce4-screenshoter-plugin doesn't have a component in xfce's bugzilla.
