Unsupported Eagle layer vRestrict on import

I am using kicad-5.0-unified-20190115-014504-4aeef1e09.dmg, which may be beta. I am using OSX 10.14.2 (Mojave). This version appears to have fixed the Eagle import SEGFAULT problem but has other warts: it does not recognize vRestrict and bRestrict layers; it does not appear to make connections to the ground layer as all of the grounded connections remain as a rats nest. Please see the attached screen dump.

The bRestrict import should have been addressed by lp:1772245

Can you attach a board that demonstrates this issue?

The ground planes will not connect until you fill the zones. Press 'B'

Please find attached the .brd file in question. I would have also attached the .sch file as well but it appears that one can only attach one file at a time. Is this sufficient?

The fill issue is a separate bug and quite more serious, so we'll address that in 5.1.
