Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

No matter whether I'm logged into anything else or not, every time I try to log in to my Yahoo account, Pidgin crashes. This has been consistently happening, no matter how I configure the login. Why might this be?

I confirmed this bug on Pidgin 2.5.1 under Ubuntu 8.10 (beta)

thank you its working now. we upgraded to the new ubuntu and it works great.
