Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Hi using Amilo Pro V2000 Fujitsu laptop, openoffice 2.3, ubuntu 7.10..

word processor works properly but impress and spreadsheet start up not in normal window but in kind of fullscreen and its not possible to change it.I cant click on panel above (file etc) it starts to blink the screen and i am able to see the menu after about 30 clicks on the same location...

 I tried to change language from mine (czech) to english which should have been more stable but didnt help. Ubuntu 7.04 and previous version of openoffice worked correctly..

also importing files from MS office worked sometimes wrong, especially MS Office 2007 documents..

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Hi reinstallation of whole system solved the problem..but if you ask, still
having problem with the "bug" of hard drive cycles... I tried all advices on
all forums i searched thru but still get large amount of heads parking
cycles in short time..
(and of course hibernating the system:-)
