Splashscreen is not refreshed

When starting the splashscreen is showed. When you move another window over the splashscreen, the area become white or grey depending on the OS. This may not happen and the splashscreen should be refreshed more often.

This is because the process is busy launching the application, reading
sources, doing byt compilation etc. so that the UI loop is starved. I
could have some random 'update' in Coccinella.tcl. I have seen KDE
seems fuzzy about this so it could have something to do with the
window manager as well.

I now call 'update' each time a new splash message is set. This refreshes the dialog each time a new splash message is set if it has been "gray". This is verified on XP SP2.
