Sorry, but we'll need a lot more information than that (e.g. OS, installed printers, printers visible in Inkscape print dialog - potentially backed by screenshots, etc.).

OK, thanks.

Unfortunately there are some know issues with the snap package due to the container structure. Let's hope somebody with knowledge about snap packages will be able to pick this up from here.

Not reproduced at my end, after connecting the `cups-control` security confinement interface the printers should appear in the printing dialog.

You may connect the snap to the `cups-control` interface by running the following command:

    sudo snap connect inkscape:cups-control

As the interface autoconnection is not likely to be granted[1] we might want to implement a prompt to instruct users to connect the interface in the launcher:

summary: - inkscape 0.92.3 don't shows printer in the dialog box
+ inkscape 0.92.3 (snap) don't shows printer in the dialog box

The workaround doesn't seem to work for me with the 0.92.4 Snap:

$ snap list
Name Version Rev Tracking Publisher Notes
...
inkscape 0.92.4 5874 stable inkscape✓ -
...
$ sudo snap connect inkscape:cups-control
error: snap "inkscape" has no plug named "cups-control"

I tried to install it using `--classic` but that didn't seem to take (didn't show up in the notes column like others, didn't show printers)

The solution also doesn't work for me with Ubuntu 19.10, Inkacape 0.92.4 and snap snap 2.44.3:

$ snap list | grep inkscape
inkscape 0.92.4 7378 latest/stable inkscape* -

$ snap --version
snap 2.44.3
snapd 2.44.3
series 16
ubuntu 19.10
kernel 5.3.0-46-generic

$ sudo snap connect inkscape:cups-control :cups-control
error: snap "inkscape" has no plug named "cups-control"
