update-maintainer does not get section automatically anymore

The update-maintainer script used to detect the used section automatically, but fails to do so since a few weeks.

update-maintainer uses e.g. "rmadison -u ubuntu -a source apt -s hardy" and greps the output with grep -Eo "main|universe|multiverse|restricted".

It seems like the output from rmadison or http://people.ubuntu.com/~ubuntu-archive/madison.cgi has changed, because it does not contain any section information (anymore?).

Is this the case only for some packages (e.g. those in main)?
$ rmadison -u ubuntu -a source apt -s hardy
       apt | 0.7.9ubuntu2 | hardy | source
$ rmadison -u ubuntu -a source ktoon -s hardy
     ktoon | 0.8.1-3 | hardy/universe | source

A fix for this has been in bzr for a while, but nobody has bothered to upload a new revision of the pacakge. Doing that now.

This bug was fixed in the package ubuntu-dev-tools - 0.24
