FTBFS: New toolchain breaks build in cosmic

Bug Description

Due to the nature of this compat package we have to stick with the old ipxe source.
The new updated is working fine.

But the build with the new toolchain fails on several things.
One is the PLT http://ipxe-devel.ipxe.narkive.com/XVJMK4BP/fix-elf2efi-to-recognize-r-x86-64-plt32-relocation-type

PPA: https://launchpad.net/~ci-train-ppa-service/+archive/ubuntu/3426 has a test build with the fix

Other than I thought initially not more seems to be needed.
