Incorrect Version

Binary package hint: opendchub

Apt-get shows that the version of opendchub i am using is 0.7.15
The following shows up when I do "apt-cache show opendchub"

Description: hub clone for DC (Direct Connect P2P network)
Open DC hub is a Unix/Linux version of the hub software for the Direct Connect network. Direct Connect is a file sharing network made up
by hubs, to which clients can connect. It offers offers peer-based file-sharing. In practise it works better than gnutella and other
similar systems as it allows dc hubs (servers) administrators to require clients to share specified amount of data. The amount is usually
based on type of client's connection and it is used not to hurt or exclude anybody but to make file sharing "fair play".

This version supports most of the features of the official hub. Some of the currently supported features are:
* Searching for files,
* Connecting to users, both in active and passive mode,
* Messaging in open chat,
* Private messaging,
* Registering users,
* Kicking users (for OP:s),
* Banning users (for Admins),
* Uploading hub address and description to public hub list,
* Hublinking, which makes it possible to search on other hubs connected to the network.

The hub is run as a daemon, i.e, it runs in the background. It's administrated through a tcp connection, for example with telnet, which
makes it possible to administer remotely, given that the user has the administration password.

But when I run opendchub from the terminal it says that it is 0.7.14

opendchub -h

  -d : Debug mode. Also prevents Open DC Hub from making itself a
                 background daemon.
  -h : Print this help and exit.
  --version : Print version.
  -l <logfile> : Set logfile.
  -s : Use syslog instead of a logfile.
  -w <path> : Set the path to the working directory.
  -u <user> : User to switch to run as.
  -g <group> : Group to switch to run as.

System information:
I am using Kubuntu Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 with 2.6.22-14-generic kernel. I don't know if I should post my dmesg here... I don't think dmesg has anything to do with incorrect version number.

Also, this version of opendchub has got some bugs. (I was told that when i upgrade to opendchub 0.7.15 those bugs would be taken care of). But it didn't happen... cuz I guess the version is still 0.7.14.

The version is indeed 0.7.15, the wrong version display comes from a hardcoded version in a Makefile that has not been updated.

Okay...but there are still a lotta problems that I am facing such as the settings in the config file not being saved and the likes...

Can anybody confirm this?

This bug was fixed in the package opendchub - 0.7.15-1ubuntu1
