I don't know what is the problem I was updating ubuntu by softwer updater

I don't know why the script failed in this particular way, but this shows that you have the 'grub' package installed on your system which is grub version 1. Why do you have this installed? All supported versions of Ubuntu use grub-pc (grub version 2) by default.
