Tiny setting on palette larger than small

Using inkscape 0.45.1

When I click on the "tiny" setting on the palette, the palette become larger than the "small" setting.

Note: This bug exists in 0.46pre0, but seems to act slightly differently, yet still improperly.

I think Wu means Swatches dialog.

On my computer (WinXP) "tiny" and "small" don't differ in size, so I'll set comfirmed and medium importance.
Not low, because, I suppose, it's easy to fix, and I don't want to conserve it forever.

I mean the bar at the bottom with colours, which is shown/hidden when I click on
  View -> Show/Hide -> Palette
from the menus.

I'm using Ubuntu Linux, and the "tiny" setting is somewhere between "large" and "huge" in terms of size.

I agree there's a bug somewhere but be aware nonetheless that the size
depends on:
- your gtk theme
- the palette you select
basically Inkscape fills the whole window width with all palettes
which means that tiny for a palette that does not have many colors
will end up being bigger than tiny with a palette that has many

Unfortunately, it's the height of the palette that is affected - also, this
doesn't seem to be a factor here, since the palettes I'm working with all
require me to scroll to the right in "small" (and obviously) "tiny" modes.

On XP the height is the same for medium, small and tiny. It seems there is a minimum height being set.

The smallest height for me is 40px high (compared to 14px for Inkscape 0.45), and takes up too much screen space.

My guess is that in removal of the H-scrollbar when not necessary introduced this bug.

i can confirm that height is the same for medium, small and tiny on winXP.
In linux, no problem, all the sizes works as they should (kubuntu).

As of Inkscape SVN 17392 on Windows XP the settings work OK - changing the menu selection changes the size of swatches respectively when showing a long palette (say the standard) but when "Windows XP icons" is selected - more problems appear. The size does not change and causes some problems (the UI freezes for a moment when changing from tiny to huge) and in the huge mode the scroll does not work as expected. Also the shape does not seem to have any influence on the display (is all circumstances). I think this could be reworked slightly.

Both sizing and scrollbar space issues have been fixed.
