error conection to server notification, writting error

Binary package hint: pidgin

When i'm going to connect to a msn server with my account <email address hidden>, pidgin respond me with this message: error conection to server notification, writting error
I can't understand because I could connect with another client, ebuddy for example.

I've got the same problem. Any idea how to fix it??

Hello, I solved it installing one more time Pidgin with official repositories (the error is because I put the version no-official and diferents wrong plugins.

First
sudo apt-get purge pidgin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install pidgin

That's all, in my case its ok now.
