The same thing happens to me, I get an error when using "apt-get update", "apt-get upgrade" "apt-get autoremove" and "apt-get install -f", always with the file "/ var / cache / apt /archives/libnvidia-gl-390_390.48-0ubuntu3_amd64.deb ".
The worst thing is that now I can not go back to xorg from wayland, and I think it's because of this bug.
I'm about to uninstall ubuntu 18.04 and go back to 17.10, which did not give me any problems.
