Bug Description

The Gnome dictionary applet doesn't accept any text entries on Ubuntu Gutsy. It used to work well until Ubuntu 7.04.

I confirm this bug.
With compiz disabled dictionary applet works normally.
With compiz enabled doesn't accept any text entries.

It's unusable.

This is fixed in hardy and in a backport we made for gutsy.

Click on the Updates tab, make sure "Unsupported updates (gutsy-backports)" is enabled.

But what about the word history? It's a really useful feature and it needn't
go away, in my opinion.
