Bug Description

Ubuntu 7.10

Steps to reproduce:
* create a second user
* give the second user administrative privileges
* log into second user's account
* System -> Administration -> Printing
* Add a new printer, or change the details of a current printer
* You will be prompted for the password of the second user
* When you type it in, it rejects it, and brings the prompt up again, indefinitely

Let me know if you need more info.

Toby, did you add second user with gnome user-admin tool?
In that case this is the same issue as described in bug #152107.

Yes, I used the Gnome user-admin tool. The description of the other bug seems to match with mine.

Is there a way to get email updates when people ask questions on a thread I start? I was not aware that you needed more info from me.

I'm therefore closing this bug as a duplicate of bug #152107. Please look at the other bug report to see if there is any missing information that you can provide, or to see if there is a workaround for the bug. Additionally, any further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other report. Feel free to continue to report any other bugs you may find.
