Bug Description
Ubuntu 7.10
Steps to reproduce:
* create a second user
* give the second user administrative privileges
* log into second user's account
* System -> Administration -> Printing
* Add a new printer, or change the details of a current printer
* You will be prompted for the password of the second user
* When you type it in, it rejects it, and brings the prompt up again, indefinitely

Toby, did you add second user with gnome user-admin tool?
In that case this is the same issue as described in bug #152107.
