Bug Description

I have not got a clue about what is going on or how to report it, as I am not computer speak literate, and the instructions for downloading firefox quantum only apply to 'about firefox', the old one, and not installing the new.

When you filed this bug, it was under Firefox 54 (54.0+build3-0ubuntu0.16.10.1)
Not sure how you got this old version but to reinstall:

> sudo apt update
> sudo apt install firefox

Then please attempt to launch it from the command line (Open terminal with CTRL+ALT+T then type "firefox") and provide any feedback.

Changed in firefox (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

Doing sudo apt stuff is so not my thing, as I do not know how to do or
where do such stuff.

Thankyou though very much for your advice, and everything is ok now as I
was using a

16.10 system and it got updated to 17.10 system, I think, and firefox 57
was part of the

upgrade. So thanks again, and have amazing new year and many many more.
