Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Legitimate URL links within e-mails do not open either Konqueror nor Firefox. Clicking on the Thunderbird HELP button does nothing. This is a reproducible bug: it happens all the time. This is a fresh install of both the OS (Kubuntu 7.10) and Thunderbird.

I have resolved this problem. Thunderbird-gnome-support must be installed for these links/URLs to function. This requirement is not noted nor is it listed as a dependency for Thunderbird.

Changed in thunderbird:
assignee: nobody → marclewis303
status: New → Confirmed

I already have thunderbird-gnome-support installed, but the problem is still there. This is Ubuntu 7.10.
