Bug Description

my operations:
1. There are 3 conductors:conductor-1,conductor-2,conductor-3
2. first,I turn a BM console on, then conductor-1 start a shellinaboxd progress which use port 5900
3. second, I create a BM instance, then log in the console.
4. Waiting for minutes, the console will be closed when _sync_local_state was called on conductor-1, because the shellinaboxd process was stopped and started by the function _sync_local_state.

Sorry for not following up on this. I found a related bug from a while ago [0] so I'm moving to Confirmed. Can you provide some more information?

1) Did you also follow the setup guide mentioned in the related bug? [1]
2) Can you provide your pxe_append_params?
3) Can you look into what Kaifeng suggested in the related bug? It could be related to your machine's settings rather than an ironic bug. Pasted here for convenience:

"have you checked BIOS configuration about console? It may be different with various machines, but in general you may find something like enable console redirection, and baudrate settings. The console redirection has to be enabled, and the baudrate in BIOS should match the setting in the pxe_append_params."

Can you try the configuration that Tao Li mentions in the bug description? It could be the same issue.
