shellinabox web console is not working properly

Steps to reproduce:

Following the below link for setting up the web console.

Added the kernel parameters too in ironic.conf.

Integration seems to be fine. After the started the nova boot process to spin a node.

Issues:
-----------
1 )Able to see the initial phase of the boot process till PXE booting..I am not able to see the deploy image booting using this shellinabox based web console.

Is there any other way we can able to see the deploy image logs?

2)Once node is UP, tried to use console using http://ip:4200 (please see the screenshot (img1.png ) below to see the content). I am not getting any login prompt.

Greetings! Thanks for filing this. Could you provide us what you set as the pxe_append_options in your ironic.conf file, along with details about what version of ironic, ironic-python-agent, and what base OS the ramdisk is utilizing.

Sorry for the late reply. Please find the below details for further investigation.

pxe_append_params = nofb nomodeset vga=normal console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200n8 systemd.journald.forward_to_console=yes

Ironic version: 1.11.1
IPA version: stable/newton (coreos as my base OS)

Shellinabox is working fine till pxe boot, but i am not seeing any logs while the IPA boot.

Do i need to any other config file please let me know.

Hi keerthivasan, have you checked BIOS configuration about console? It may be different with various machines, but in general you may find something like enable console redirection, and baudrate settings. The console redirection has to be enabled, and the baudrate in BIOS should match the setting in the pxe_append_params.
