Bug Description

The rename of the file shim.efi.signed to shimx64.efi.signed appears to be causing MaaS 1.9 to fail to be able to install Ubuntu 14.04. This has been reported here with more context:

This is a shim upstream change which will not be reverted. maas will need to be fixed to accommodate this.
