Guess maybe I screwed up

Was trying to install from DVD only seemed to go to HDD not all 4 drives, 2SSD, 2 SATAHDD I flounder trying to set up so swap is on SSD and core Linux on HDD so system will boot. Cannot boot from SSD's it seems. Thanks for your help I made a donation to Mozilla maybe need to make one to Ubuntu I set the free spaces to LVM after formatting and let The installer size the main HDD at 0,0 SDA1
All this plus a MSI RX480 8Gb Graphics and 12 MB Memory on a M5A97 (LER2.0) MB, AMD 8350 8core @4000Hz.
Put it together myself for retirement project (70y.o.)
Reason I formatted is I stupidly tried to put Windoze7x64 in THEN was going to install SxS Ubuntu 17.04 but they fought viciously especially Windows which kept on trying to format my prepared Linux partitions. So I figured to run only Linux of any flavour that will work. I was liking the Cinnamon interface but the Audio extras in Studio seem interesting too, so many choices.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I am having motherboard problems and may pull
out everything reflash MB and try one drive only to install 17.10.
