Bug Description

Doing this merge would pull in some NMU changes, one of which would greatly reduce the delta by removing the SSL 1.1 patch and setting the dependency on an SSL which would work in Ubuntu. The only remaining delta would be adding the patch disabling the hanging testcase tls_generic_test.
