Failed to parse book in Calibre 64bit with kobotouch_extended plugin

I am new here and found a similar bug reported and fixed here, but mine still exists even though i have the latest driver updates etc. I am hoping someone can help me with this.

When trying to upload some books i get the following message (happened 2/20 times so far):

Failed to parse 'Harry Potter en het Vervloekte Kind deel een en twee (Speciale eerste editie)' by 'J. K. Rowling and John Tiffany and Jack Thorne' with error: '.html' (file: calibre_plugins.kobotouch_extended.container, line: 344)

I have version 2.85.1 [64bit] connected to a Kobo Glo HD. The Kobotouch_extended version is 2.8.2.

Can anyone help me?

Apologies, I didn't get any notification of this and bug tracking has moved to https://bitbucket.org/jgoguen/calibre-kobo-driver/issues?status=new&status=open. I only used Launchpad because it let me set bugs private while books were uploaded but I have another solution and honestly I don't like Launchpad all that much.

Update to all the latest versions (latest Calibre, latest Kobo software, latest plugin version) and if it's still happening file a new bug report at BitBucket.

Hi,

thanks for the fast response. The link you sent me seems invalid but I get the idea. I have updated both the ebook and calibre (including the plugins) to the latest versions but the bug seems to persist. When i disable the plugin and reactive the original KoboTouch plugin (from David Forester) the files are transfered to the ebook without any problems. I will try to replicate the bug asap and post it on BitBucket like you asked.
