Bug Description
I am on a vegetahd, rc proposed. DuckDuckGo is my default search engine. If I search "++" or any string like "C++ cout" the "++" is changed into only "+"

It’s not just duckduckgo, it’s an app-wide issue, as the second "+" is truncated for all search engines.
