unable to create a volume in openstack-base

I created an openstack base environment on juju and MAAS. Following prescription in https://jujucharms.com/openstack-base/ I am unable to create a cinder volume.
Everytime it goes in error status.

Hello

First apologies for the lag on this response; I suspect you've probably already resolved this problem yourself.

It looks like the cinder@cinder-ceph volume backend is down; it would be use if you could provide logs from /var/log/{cinder,juju}/* on the cinder unit.
