Bug Description

Testing the unity8 desktop snap, I noticed that the System Settings About pane has a label that says "Last updated: Never" and a button to check for updates that brings me to a blank panel.

In the main page, there is no Updates panel icon. So I assume these elements should just be hidden from the About panel, but aren't.
