Test Case
==========
Make sure that you can still open, extract and create .zip and .tar.xz files.

To check if the additional archive bug is fixed:
1. From the Files app (Nautilus), double click on an archive to open it with file-roller
2. Double click another archive to open it. The second archive should display. Before the fix, the second archive window would be blank.

Regression Potential
====================
Low. The stable 3.22 series is actively supported and this update will be included in all 3.22 distros.

Hello Jeremy, or anyone else affected,

Accepted file-roller into yakkety-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/file-roller/3.22.1-0ubuntu1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance!

I installed file-roller 3.22.1-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu GNOME 16.10. I confirmed that creating and extracting .zip and .tar.xz still works. Also, I can open two archives at the same time.
