Bug Description

This bug report is a Feature Freeze Exception for KDE Frameworks 5.26.0 (updated from 5.24.0).

We currently have this staged in ppa:kubuntu-ppa/staging-frameworks if you wish to inspect the packages. There are no additional problems that need addressing at the moment. You can take a look for yourself here:

I have been running my main kubuntu machine with these packages since they were staged, and have not encountered any problems so far as a result.

In fact another tester has reported that, as it is expected it should, it fixes the secondary cause of KDE bug:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362531#c44

for them.

I too have been running several computers with these packages since they were staged and also haven't had any problems.

If the KDE team wants to do that update, that's fine for me as representative of the general Ubuntu release team, so approved.

However, I think it gets really tight for beta -- usually uploading, building, and sorting through the test regressions takes more than a day (and often enough the packages are stuck in proposed for weeks even). That does not matter that much as it's fine to keep the packages in -proposed during the beta freeze, I just want to alert you to the fact.

These have now been uploaded by kubuntu developer Rohan Garg (shadeslayer on IRC). Are any additional steps required to get these approved in the upload queue?
