Bug Description
I'm running an updated Loki (beta 2) install and have installed some Qt based apps such as VLC and QBittorrent.
By default they don't look as good (a bit off) as they could.
I searched online and found a couple of links, the first is a stackexchange answer that suggests to set QT_STYLE_
See http://
and the second is to change a gconf setting:
See https:/
The first one seems to help and make the apps look a bit better on Loki.
My question/request is, can the eOS dev team please enable this setting by default, so regular users are not put off (that much) by some popular apps not looking as good as they could?

It looks like this is being addressed here http:// bazaar. launchpad. net/~elementary -os/elementaryo s/default- settings- loki/revision/ 207
The original stackexchange link I came across here http:// elementaryos. stackexchange. com/questions/ 1240/how- to-set- qt-style- to-default asks about a Qt file dialog issue where it seems to pick the Windows style rather than for linux, not sure if setting this environment variable helps but at least this seems to be a step in the right place :-)
Thank you to the devs!
