the screen turns black

when i was playing a movie the screen turns black and the sound was repeating over and over again, it didn't recover from that and i had to restart.

What is your hardware? Do you have non-free drivers?

i was playing that with vlc, and i hace a amd a8 2.0 x 4, radeon r5.

No, I'm not using that.
Even yesterday the entire screen freeze again and I wasn't paying anything
