Is this true all the time or occasionally? Are you searching for apps or categories?
A query to the store can time out when the network connection is poor, otherwise this seems to be working fine.

Yes, I can repeat it every time. I have 100Mbs fiber optic link from Orange.
The use case is very simple. I just click big "Ubuntu Store" icon then it switches to white blank page (scope). On the bottom of screen I see progress bar animating and afer a while it disappears. I can try to query Ubuntu Store for content from the other internet provider.

Can you open https://search.apps.ubuntu.com/api/v1/package/com.ubuntu.terminal for example in the browser on your device? Have you changed the root partition of the device at all?

No. I didn't touch file system on my device.

Can you provide a screenshot? Also, can you include the output of running "system-image-cli -i" on the device? Thanks.

Well a screen shot won't help here. It is just white empty window/view.
I did few more tests using my M10 using other internet providers and Ubuntu store works fine. In such a case it must be something wrong with Orange. For some reason Ubuntu store server doesn't like them ;)

OK. Can you reboot, immediately open the store upon unlocking the device and being connected to the network where this fails for you, and then attach the /home/phablet/.cache/upstart/unity8-dash.log file here, without doing anything else? That might provide a little more info.

I'm not sure it's the network, as there doesn't seem to be a network error in your log file. I'm also hitting an odd issue locally when testing the store scope on my PC. I get no results from there, but it works fine on my nexus 4, both on the same network. So there is something weird going on I think, but I can't figure out what yet.

ok, so I hit what looks like the same problem. I extracted a couple of logs and saved them to pastebin:

OK, something very odd is going on there, as in the unity8-dash.log it's very clearly returning 0 results. In the scope-registry.log in the previous comment it seems the store scope is started, but it doesn't exit, and it seems like perhaps Qt is having problems talking to network manager. I have no idea what would cause this, though. It really doesn't make any sense. :/

In my opinion it is related to internet provider or web server which for
some reason doesn't response properly on requests form a client application
which uses problematic internet provider.
