Bug Description

When turning wifi back on (switch in wingpanel), I can see the computer scanning for networks and then displaying "No access points" (there are about 20 networks around me). Switching wifi off and on won't change anything (same for hardware switch). I had to reboot my computer for the computer to detect my wifi network.
This bug has happened to me a few times.

Details: I use the wired connection at work and switch off wireless. I put the computer to sleep and when I start it again at home and turn wireless on, it won't detect any network.

I have only seen an instance of this once, a while ago and it was fixed on reboot.

Hi

Probably i have the same bug but i`m not sure, when has click in the wireless button turn on seems to work only no more than one second and inmediatly turns off again. In resume, wireless not works using this button.

With instructions on commmand lines (with root permissions) or with the program "wicd" wireless conecction works perfectly. The most incredible thing it`s when, working the connection, the button of wireless are still in off and says (obviously) internet not works (but works)

The version are 4.0 stable (the last at 29 november 2016) and the system are updated.

This still happens to me regularly. Is there a command I can run when it happens to help finding the cause?
Sometimes, when this bug happens, I can see only one or two access points out of the 20 that are usually available.
Going to sleep and wake again (closed lid) does not fix this.
Rebooting fixes the problem.
