After a reboot it works again. I try to find out how to reproduce this situation.

No, 'mobile data' was switched on. But: 'data roaming' was switched off after upgrade to OTA-12. I use the german provider 'Netzclub' (o2 / E-Plus), which allows data roaming within germany without extra charge. I activated 'data roaming' again, but the mobile data connection still wont work. Only reboot helped.

Probably a duplicate of bug 1607079, which has a fix coming in OTA-13.

The symptoms of #1607079 and #1609055 are not the same ! The SIM card and mobile date is not disabled in the case of a failure. You can see from the log, that TX fails.

It's a reproduceable bug:
I left my office at about 17:30 h and tried to read my email 10 min. later. No mobile data connection was available (see attached log).

Workaround: Go to flight mode and back to normal (non flight mode)
