Bug Description

1. I am using Linux Mint 18 XFCE Beta version.

2. A problem occured when I installed all the updates for my OS through the update manager.

3. Text under desktop icons is moved to the left of where it is supposed to be and I could not find a way to fix the issue.

4. Text under desktop icons should be on its place (the problem was not persistent in the install version... it happened after the updates.

5. A problem persists from the day I installed Linux Mint 18 XFCE Beta edition on the machine.

Exact same issue affects current non-Beta release of Linux Mint 18 XFCE as well, downloaded and installed today 8/3/2016.

I was able to duplicate the actual event that resulted in the left justified shift of desktop icon labels. It occurs when under Settings > Appearance > Style you change from Mint-X to Mint-Y. Labels will not shift back regardless of what style is chosen afterwards.

Humbly adding correction to #3, when Appearance is switched back to Mint-X and system is rebooted the desktop icons resume normal appearance. This seems to be a Mint-Y problem.

Hm, so it has to do with the theme, are linux mint developers planning to
fix the theme, I also noticed problem with the theme (a few glitches near
the system tray icon)?

Hey John, I am wondering has anything been done with the bug of the new
XFCE theming? I am honestly dying to use xfce as my primary desktop
environment but I like to customize things and since I never know whether
if it wil break my theming I cannot really use it full-time. Did you manage
to find where the problem is... I noticed the same bug with some other
distros too! (xubuntu and some other xfce ubuntu derivatives)

Best regards,
Marko
