inkscape crashes while choosing tamil fonts

the application crashes and closes when i choose tamil fonts from the dropdown list box.
it displays as "_cairo_status_is_error(status)".
i had attached the screen shot below:

Could you please give the name of some of the Tamil fonts that cause Inkscape to crash so that we can try to reproduce the issue?

Could you also give details on your Inkscape (32 or 64-bit? 0.91 or older?) and OS version?

Yah sure.I'm using inkscape 0.91 -64 bit .I'm Running windows 8.0 on my
Sony VAIO E series laptop.

Hi,
Actually application crashes while choosing any of the Tamil fonts.

I am using Unicode Tamil fonts.

So ,the problem arises if I scroll through the Tamil fonts in the
drop-down list box of fonts.

Hi,

I downloaded inkscape today version 1.2.1 for macos.
I am facing a bug which i suppose could be same what is already reported here.

I am trying to change the fonts and after changing fonts couple of times, it suddenly throw a message that it encountered a problem and it is saving the work on same location (a path provided)
I am adding a screenshot where it looks like fontt specific problem but it happened for me, even with ordinary fonts(styles where it is normal english font).

Here the user reported it for tamil fonts, I am afraid it is happening for all fonts or most of fonts.
