can't access alarm list with mouse

ok, to access the alarms I have to swipe up from the bottom.
can't do that with the mouse. need to revert to touch.

on the phone, using touch, it's really hard.
takes half a dozen upswipes to get the 'alarm' button to stick, and even then you usually get it to close by touching instead of opening the alarm page. it's really irritating.

THe Clock app uses standard Ubuntu component called 'BottomEdge'. Unfortunately this component does not support the mouse yet. Please see this bug for more info:https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-clock-app/+bug/1588507

Will the propsed change make the bottom edge less finicky and fiddly to use?

I think there's also a bug about problems with swiping up the bottom edge. I'll try to find it and add comment here.
